The Ministry of Environment and Forests has initiated a programme “Indian State Basic Level Information Database (ISBEID)” under ENVIS Scheme for the State/UTs ENVIS Centres. ISBEID is being implemented through NIC. Under this programme data on environment and its related 17 modules will be obtained and placed on ISBEID portal on MIS and GIS framework
