On the occasion of National Farmers’ Day - 23 December 2022, EIACP - EMPRI had organized farmer student interaction programme at Savitha Madhuvana Jenukrishi, Doddaballapura. Around 24 students, 1 teacher from Government Composite High School (GCHS) Kaggalahalli and 3 EIACP staff participated in this programme. The student visited the agricultural field of Mr. Lakshmegowdru, Farmer from Doddaballapura. Mr. Lakshmegowdru conducted the theory session on farming practices to students and demo on bee keeping. Student visited the nearby farms and this provided them the better understanding on the ways in which farms operate. The main purpose of this is to create/spread awareness about the cultivation methods and to make students understand the importance of farmer’s contribution to the society.
