Karnataka State ENVIS Centre along with the host Institution EMPRI has taken an initiative to effectively implement and spread awareness among public on ‘PLASTIC BAN’, by means of conducting Procession, Rally, Cell phones and mobile advertising, Word of mouth Advertising, Distribution of Cloth bags and T-shirts with messages, Newspaper advertisements and articles, Handouts, Making of Short Films, telecasting Audio-Visuals in Radio and Doordarshan, KSRTC and BMTC Banners and Public announcements, Wall paintings and a Cleaning drive programme involving Rag-pickers.
